CASA College ClinicThe Capital Athletic Soccer Academy hosted University of Arizona coach Dan Tobias on Monday night for a free clinic.  Thirty 9th, 10th, and 11th grade girls from many different clubs in the Sacramento area attended this open clinic in which Tobias worked on speed of play and offensive decision making.

"This was a great opportunity for girls in the Sacramento area to work with one of the elite soccer coaches in the country," said Girls' Director of Coaching Gabriel Bolton.  "The training session was outstanding and I think the girls that participated got a great feel for the qualities needed to play at the next level.  Exposing the players in the Sacramento area to top college, professional, and US National Staff coaches is a priority for our club and something we feel very strongly we can contribute to the Sacramento soccer community."

Tobias was named National Coach of the Year by Soccer America in 2004.  He is also two-time Pac-10 Women's Soccer Coach of the Year (2004, 2002).  In 2004 Tobias led the Wildcats to a Pac-10 Championship.
