MVP

Brittani Lum, senior, St. Francis

Hawaii-bound three-year varsity starter anchored the defensive midfield for a Troubadours team that ended the season with 11 consecutive shutouts and a 10th Sac-Joaquin Section Division I championship.


COACH OF THE YEAR

Greg Spangler, Ponderosa

Has led the Bruins to three section titles and six consecutive D-II championship game appearances.


FIRST TEAM

• Ari Calderon, senior, St. Francis – Four-year player scored 16 goals and was the co-Delta River League MVP.

• Lauren Coiner, senior, Rocklin – Three-time All-Metro goalie led Rocklin to Sierra Foothill League title and appearance in D-II section championship game.

• Brittany Flanagan, senior, Capital Christian – Three-time Golden Empire League Player of the Year finished career with 148 goals, 97 assists.

• Megan Foy, sophomore, West Campus – Capital Valley Conference MVP helped Warriors reach D-IV final for second consecutive season.

• Cecily Toro, junior, Rosemont – Metro Conference MVP had 35 goals for league champion Wolverines.

• Macy Jo Harrison, senior, Napa – Oregon State recruit and Monticello Empire League Offensive MVP had 22 goals, 15 assists for league champion Indians.

• Melanie Kitsman, senior, Ponderosa – Tall, strong midfielder helped Bruins win D-II section title.

• Brynn Konkel, sophomore, Franklin – Delta Valley Conference MVP scored 26 goals for Wildcats.

• Kaitlyn Morris, senior, Rio Americano – Capital Athletic League MVP was defensive force at sweeper for D-III section finalists.

• Caitlin Pulver, senior, Roseville – Sacramento State recruit helped Tigers reach postseason.

• Shea Roberts, senior, Folsom – Delta River League co-MVP will take her skills to UC Irvine.

• Elise Winbrock, senior, Davis – Blue Devils midfielder will stay close to home by playing at UC Davis.
