Mi CASA Su CASA Fiesta Frendlies
Cherry Island -- The heat of Labor day couldn't keep the U13's from Boca Jrs 94 girls and their friends from Davis, Manteca and Vacaville from coming together to play soccer and have a great time. Each team had the chance to play closely contested friendly matches against each other centered around a potluck bar-b-q. Beating the heat was a tough task and the girls played as hard in the sprinklers as they did on the field. New friends were made and a great time was had by all.
Boca Jrs 95 Girls Victorious in Davis
Davis, CA -- The U12 CASA Boca Jrs 95 girl won the 2007 Davis Shootout on four consecutive shut-outs last weekend. They played three regular games in their four-team flight and a final game for the championship against a rival team from Placer United.
Boca Jrs 92 Blue Girls Finalists in the North vs. South Tournament
The first half of the first game against California Odyssey ’93 Red ended with Boca down 1 to 0. However, Boca came back fighting in the second half. Elena Alvarez scored the first goal on a well-placed cross by Jessica Pena. Courtney Woods, guest player, scored the winning goal on an assist from Danielle Enright. A tight defense kept Odyssey from scoring any additional goals and ensuring a win for the team.
Boca Jrs 94 Girls Take Second in Beaverton Adidas Cup
Beaverton, OR (July 23, 2007) -- In their first competitive tournament the U13 Boca Jrs 94 girls finished second after a strong showing, posting 3 wins and a close loss in the finals. The girls scored 19 goals and unfortunately gave up only one during the championship match to finish runner-up.
Boca Jrs 95 Girls Takes the 2007 Cal State Stanislaus 6 vs 6 Championship
Turlock, CA
(June 13, 2007) -- Boca Jrs 95 girls had an eventful day last Saturday in Turlock at the Cal State Stanislaus 6 vs 6 tournament playing against a variety of talented teams, including a tough contingent from Stockton. The sunny, mild weather and the natural surface of the 50 x 44 playing field were both excellent. However, the day did not start off well as the big home team, playing down, seemed determined to dominate the event by leveraging their size and aggressive, physical playing style. Number 4, Bailee Lupton discovered this early in game one when she injured her ankle as she was taken out during a drive down field. The injury was concerning enough to warrant a trip to the ER for some X-rays which turned up a nasty sprain.

Seven Boca Jrs 88 Girls are High School Varsity Captains
When it comes to leadership it is very clear that the Boca Jrs 88 girls may have more than their fair share.
Seven of the seventeen players on the Boca Jrs 88 squad are captains of their seven respective high school varsity soccer teams. Here’s the list:
- Amy Baer (Junior) – Folsom High
- Michaela Buschow (Senior) – El Camino High
- Meghan Butler (Senior) – St. Francis High
- Tiernan Cutler (Senior) – Country Day School (Sacramento)
- Carolyn James (Senior) – Ponderosa High
- Sabel Maguire (Senior) – Oak Ridge High
- Maryanne Sayles – Rio Americano High
And while they may be great leaders – they are all also great followers for their Boca Jrs 88 team captains – Heather Overholt and Tiernan Cutler.
Just another reason to be proud of this Capital Athletic team!
