Capital Athletic is committed to encouraging our young players to continue pursuing both academic and athletic excellence.
The program is directed by our Technical Director, Berhane Andeberhan, who has coached both men and women at the collegiate level and has extensive experience in coaching and recruiting for more than 30 years.
Andeberhan will direct the staff to assisst our high school age youngsters with the process of college choice. The goal is to help our youngsters make the best choices and avoid some of the common pitfalls. The program will include seminars to share general information regarding the fundamentals of the process and then each student athlete will be given specific individual assistance as needed to navigate the process of choosing a college and ways of financing their education including.
Youngsters will be encouraged to pursue all avenues including academic and athletic scholarships as well as other financial aid. We hope that all our kids will combine playing soccer along with their studies, and we shall make a concerted effort to help place them in colleges that will give them that chance without compromising their academic standards.
