1998-2004 Coaching Coordinator/Soccer Coach, Placer United Soccer Club Served for 6 years as soccer coach for youth teams ranging in ages from 10-17. Position required developing soccer skills appropriate to age level to compete at competitive soccer level. This included training/practice sessions, scrimmages and games designed to improve skill level of individual and team. Provided guidance and assisted in supervision for youth members. As Coaching Coordinator was responsible for coordinating the activity of respective coaches, recruiting of new coaches, reviewing of current coaching staff, providing a coordinated, consistent application method of coaching efforts, and serving as member of a review committee.
1996-present Alcala Soccer Camps
Alcala Soccer provides camps, clinics and individual training for coaches and players throughout Placer County ranging in ages from 4-16. Duties include developing soccer skills for all ages in fun and safe environment. As Camp Director, responsibilities include development of daily curriculum, hiring of staff and day-to-day operations of camp. Alcala Soccer works with local community agencies providing college and camp scholarships.
